Cyber-crime rates are increasing

- Check unfamiliar emails for spelling, grammar and syntax. The majority of malware, spam or phishing scams originate from foreign countries, so any obvious errors will be a good indication
- If your customers notice their computer running slowly, it keeps crashing or stops responding, this could be a clear indicator that the computer is infected, and therefore would need looking at by an IT professional
- Back up data on a daily basis, and store multiple copies in different locations
- Ensure your customer and their employees use strong passwords that are updated on a regular basis
Whilst all of the above will strengthen your customers email security strategy, security measures don’t just stop there.
