Giacom and Hull City AFC Launch ‘Connecting Kids To Tech’ Competition

Giacom and Hull City are excited to launch a new campaign – combining their respective expertise in technology and football to support the local and wider communities.
Since the beginning of the 2020/2021 Premier League season, Giacom has been a Principal Club Partner of Hull City – and the club’s main shirt sponsor.
In the current climate, and with our increasing reliance on technology, there’s greater demand on parents and carers to equip their children with the technology to access home learning – especially if whole year groups or entire schools have to shut down due to COVID-19.
This can be particularly difficult for some families – especially those with more than one child needing access to a device to complete their learning at home.
To help, Giacom and Hull City are partnering to bring children, football, and technology together and to give young people the opportunity to win a prize package for both themselves and their schools.
Not only will there be an amazing technology bundle up for grabs but Giacom will also provide coding lessons – through their relationship with Microsoft – to the winner’s school – in addition to a whole host of signed club merchandise and match day experiences courtesy of Hull City.
How to get involved
To enter the competition, entrants (those aged 16 and under) must make a video of themselves scoring a ‘Winning Goal’ in 15 seconds (or less) and upload it at Giacom Goals.
The campaign is set to run until 18 December.
Winners will be contacted and annouced on Hull City’s and Giacom’s social media channels.
